Recently, I was chosen as a member of the DREAM team for National Board. The DREAM team's mission is to encourage teachers of color to pursue National Board Certification. I hold a core belief that all children have a right to be taught by an accomplished teacher. This teacher leader opportunity will ensure my belief to become a reality. I am excited to also continue my work with the Arizona K12 Center to refine my leadership skills with ongoing professional development. Clearly affirming that teachers are not only lifelong learners, but also strive for intellectual challenges.
