about Lynn:
Shortly after getting my M.Ed in Early Childhood Ed with an emphasis in Special Ed from NAU in 2005, I heard about National Board Certification for the first time, and jumped right in.... and it was the best thing I've ever done! People have a hard time pulling me off of my "National Board soapbox" once they've gotten me up on it! I'm such a believer in the benefits of the process, not only in regards to student learning, but for the professional and personal rewards, as well. After achieving NB in November 2007, I co-facilitated the Pre-Can classes in my district the following semester, and I look forward to being a CSP (Candidate Support Provider) in the fall of 2008. By nature, I am one who thinks outside the box and I bring that into my classroom in countless ways ~ such as intending to have my dog Yogi, pictured here, trained to become a Certified Therapy Dog to work with special needs children in the school setting.
